Why am I sweating more?Updated 10 days ago

If you're new to natural deodorant, you might notice a short period of increased sweating when switching from antiperspirant — and that’s perfectly normal. Antiperspirants work by blocking sweat glands with aluminium salts. When you stop using them, your body may take a little time to rebalance.

This transition varies from person to person — for some it's a few days, for others it may take a couple of weeks. But rest assured, many of our cast (that’s you, our customers) say things soon settle and they feel fresher than ever.

If you’ve been using natural deodorant for a while and notice a change, it could be linked to things like stress, hormones, the weather, or even diet — all of which can affect how much you sweat.

AKT doesn’t block your pores. Instead, our Deo-Barrier Complex™ — a blend of natural, mineral, and plant powders — sits invisibly on the skin, absorbing moisture and helping you stay dry-touch and confident.

And if you're unsure how much to apply, feel free to experiment — while a pea-sized amount is our go-to, every body is different.
