Once you complete your investment, you’ll receive confirmation from Republic and your funds will be collected and held securely in escrow while the campaign remains open. If the round completes successfully, Republic will carry out its final legal and administrative checks before transferring the funds to AKT. If the campaign does not meet the conditions required to complete, your investment will be returned.

Republic will act as nominee on behalf of the investors in this round. This means Republic will hold and administer the investment collectively for investors, helping to manage the associated legal documents, communications and any future conversion into shares.

Until the convertible note converts, you will not hold priced shares in AKT. Your investment is expected to convert into equity when a qualifying future funding round takes place, such as our planned Series B, in accordance with the terms set out on the Republic campaign page. We’ll continue to share company news and relevant investor updates through Republic as AKT grows.
